When does the baby start moving in the womb?
Babies begin moving very early, but the mother usually feels those movements later. In a first pregnancy, movements are often noticed around 18 to 20 weeks.
People who have given birth before may recognize movements around 15 to 16 weeks. After 28 weeks, movement patterns become clearer; a noticeable decrease should be discussed with a clinician.
