Can you travel during pregnancy?
Travel is often possible in uncomplicated pregnancies, but sitting still for a long time can increase clot risk. On long trips, move every 1 to 2 hours, hydrate, and exercise the calf muscles.
If there is bleeding, preterm birth risk, blood pressure problems, a placental issue, or travel restriction from your clinician, postponing may be needed. Airline week limits can also vary.
